Who We Are

We are California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters).

We’re in the business of changing what’s possible in the fight for climate justice and equity for all Californians.

We believe transformational change is necessary.

The climate crisis is here. By transforming our political system and electing environmental champions, we will create the opportunity to take the bold action needed to address the climate crisis.

California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) exists to build the political will and power to solve the climate crisis, use climate action to advance justice, and create a global roadmap of innovative solutions that can be exported globally. To protect our air, land, water, and future, we organize voters, elect and train climate champion candidates, push climate solutions to the forefront of public discourse, and hold lawmakers accountable to take bold policy action.

We inspire hope and action.

We advocate for progressive environmental policies to shape a climate just future and ensure California is on track to reach its 2030 goals. We fight for equity and justice — from voting rights to clean air and water — for all Californians, and strive to make government, policy, and voting accessible for everyone.

We know true change happens through relationships and personal experience. Organizing, technology, media, and education are the tools we use to transform people’s relationship with our environment, our political system, and each other.

We’re in the business of changing what is possible.

Since 1972, California Environmental Voters (formerly California League of Conservation Voters) has protected and enhanced the land, air, water, and health of all California communities by electing environmental champions, advancing critical state and federal legislation, and holding policymakers accountable to combating the effects of our catastrophic climate crisis.

We’re excited to work with you on building an inclusive democracy and clean energy future where decisions about our economy, environment, and infrastructure are made by our communities.
