SB 682 – Senate Floor #2

Banning Forever Chemicals in Non-Essential Uses

PFAS, known as "forever chemicals" are substances that build up in the environment and have toxic health impacts. SB 682 would have limited the use of PFAS in certain products to match the standards of other states and cities. This bill would have reduced the burden of treating and filtering PFAS out of our water for local governments and water agencies, while protecting communities from the negative health impacts of these chemicals.
