SB 307:

Stop the Destructive Privatized Cadiz Water Project

Author:

Richard Roth

Restores science-based decision-making to stop an environmentally disastrous project, the Cadiz Water Project, which seeks to pump 16 billion gallons of water a year from a fragile desert aquifer in the Mojave desert at an alarming rate of overdraft, this would be devastating to both natural and cultural resources in California’s largest national monument, Mojave Trails.
