AB 262:

Buy Clean California Act

Author: Assemblymember Rob Bonta and Assemblymember Susan Eggman

This bill requires the state to spend public dollars on infrastructure materials consistent with state climate pollution reduction goals. California spends about $10 billion a year on infrastructure like roads, bridges, and public buildings. By focusing California’s infrastructure purchasing power, AB 262 will help California meet its already established greenhouse gas reduction goals.
