Lead screenings to improve health

Author: Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes

This bill protects children from exposure to lead, a toxin which causes cognitive disabilities and other forms of irreparable harm, by ensuring children receive blood lead screening tests and creating resources for health care providers on the dangers of childhood lead poisoning.
